This policy explains what personal information Shortlist Memo LLC (“Shortlist,” “we,” “us”) collects from customers and visitors to shortlistmemo.com, and how we use it.
What we collect from customers
- Your name and email address, and your company name if you give it to us.
- Order details: your buy box, the scope we confirm, invoices and delivery records.
- The emails you send us.
Payments
We invoice through Stripe, and you pay the Stripe invoice by card or ACH bank transfer. We don't receive or store your full card or bank account numbers. Stripe shares limited payment information with us, such as the amount paid and whether the payment succeeded. Stripe's handling of your information is covered by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Website visitors
This site has no accounts and no forms. Our hosting provider processes standard technical information, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site. We don't use advertising cookies or sell visitor data.
How we use it
We use your information to scope, deliver and invoice your order, to answer your questions, to keep business and tax records, and to meet legal obligations.
Sharing
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business, such as our payment, email and hosting providers, or when the law requires it.
Retention
We keep customer information for as long as we need it to serve you and to keep the business and tax records we are required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We may need to keep certain records where the law requires it.
Information in our research
Our research compiles business information from public records and the public web, such as company names, licenses and the names of owners or principals. If you are named in public records and want something corrected, email [email protected].
Children
This site and our services are for business buyers and are not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
